Who we are

Mackay Bryne Group Inc. is an Ottawa based soft skills training company whose inception was predicated on client requests. MBG Inc. is a subsidiary of Lynne Mackay Image Consulting (LMI). LMI was founded in 1985 and continues to flourish today with engagements across the country. In response to market demand for communications skills training, Lynne expanded her company  with the addition of Paul Byrne. As a Professor of Communications Skills, Paul’s vast experience and creative spirit inspired communications skills training to compliment LMI. Consequently he joined Lynne and went on to serve many of Canada’s Fortune 500 companies.


Bolstered by their success and ongoing client requests, Lynne Mackay and Paul Byrne formalized their partnership in the spring of 2000 and formed Mackay Byrne Group Inc.


Year 2011 marks the 26th Anniversary of LMI and celebrates the successes of Mackay Byrne Group Inc.. Now eleven years since its launch, MBG is a highly reputable and successful partnership in the Image Consulting and Performance Communications training field.

How we do it
We create educational climates that are psychologically safe (no lectures from on high), highly participatory, and professionally relevant. Our conference keynotes and one hour to full day seminars are customized to meet the behavioural objectives as determined by our clients. An in-depth consultation prior to the engagement uncovers the themes, purpose and objective of each session. With this in mind MBG tailors it content and delivery to best achieve the desired result and meet with ROI.
